Personal Protective Equipment and Virtual Reality Application
On 01.11.2018 an introduction and information program was carried out at our plant by 3M -a personal protective equipment (PPE) supplier company.
The program included:
- PPEs and application examples
- Working at height and confined spaces
- Virtual Reality experience (working at height)
- Applications for welding and grinding machine
- Wireless headphone communication systems with noise control
- Powered air purifying respirators
- Personal fit test applicatons
3M represantatives shared detailed information with our colleagues about the PPEs (such as masks, protective gloves, protective goggles), which are currently being used on the site.
Virtual Reality application has been tested with the active participation of our employees and the usefulness of using safety belts at the construction site has been observed.
