PharmaVision is on the RC Global Charter Signers List

PharmaVision, which was among the first organizations to sign the CEFIC Responsible Care commitment in our country with the coordination of the Turkish Chemical Manufacturers Association in 1993, also signed the Responsible Care Global Charter on 17.01.2022. With that our commitment has also been recognized at the ICCA level.

ICCA (International Council of Chemical Associations) represents chemical manufacturers around the world. Leaders from the European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC) and American Chemistry Council (ACC) typically share and alternate ICCA secretariat responsibilities every other year. ICCA members account for more than 90 percent of global chemical sales, and more than 120 million people around the globe are employed directly or indirectly by our industry. The Turkish Chemical Manufacturers Association, of which we are a member, is an organization affiliated to the European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC). In this context, our company name has been included in the List of Companies that have signed the Responsible Care Commitment, which was revised and published by ICCA in March 2022. This list includes more than 580 international companies that have signed the International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA) Responsible Care® Global Charter.

After signing Responsible Care commitment in 1993; PharmaVision received Responsible Care Awards in 1995, 2001 and 2005 for its environmental, health and safety practices. Also PharmaVision received an Honorable Mention from the European Chemical Industry Council CEFIC for his project application in 2005.

Within the scope of the Responsible Care program carried out in integration with the Environmental Management System and the Occupational Health and Safety Management System, periodic site visits/audits carried out by the Turkish Chemical Manufacturers Association were successfully completed. Our practices are also evaluated on an international scale.

The President of the European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC), Mr. Giorgio Squinzi and his assistants, Mr. Marcello Accorsi, Mr. Francesco Fiori and CEFIC’s General Manager Mr. Hubert Mandery came to our country in September 2012, and within the scope of our Responsible Care Practices, they visited our workplace together with the Members of the Board of the Turkish Chemical Manufacturers Association and the management of the association; which provided us with the opportunity to share our best practices with them.
